The carpet python's still healing up, and he's doing well. The new trick is to get him to eat. He's still at a healthy weight, but we're trying to get him to start eating again. We'll keep you guys posted as he progresses.
Today, News & Observer is documenting Mike George's burmese pythons and Zachary D'Alessio's reticulated python for their article on the proposed S.373 bill to ban large constrictors. This article will be released soon and invite everyone to take a look at it. They will be showing up at 10 AM at the rescue house, and we'll put up anything we have to say about the interview.
In the coming week, expect a TON of animals hitting the adoptions list here on the website, craigslist, and on our facebook page (www.facebook.com/RROTC). We've had the opportunity to work with a lot of the emaciated, malnourished and sick, and we've got them all bounced back and back up to speed. Yes, we have a bearded dragon that will be up too. Expect the availability list to show up on Wednesday.
