Please note: If the animal is still on the rescue adoptions page here, the animal has not yet been adopted.  Adoptions are first-come-first-serve, based on approved applications.  Instead of asking whether or not an animal has been adopted, please refer to this page.  To ensure your eligibility for adoption, please fill out an adoption form with the requested information and mail it in as per the instructions at the bottom of the application.  When our adoption's agent receives the application, he will review and contact you regarding a time to meet and adopt the animal.

If you are interested in fostering any animals that are not currently listed as "Fostered", please email Heather at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

ADOPTION PROCESS INFORMATION:

Below each animal's picture, you'll find a small description about the animal's gender, approximated age, adoption fee, and species.  Below that, you will find two links, one for the care sheet for the respective animal and a link for the adoption application.  Please submit the adoption application in the mail or by way of email, after the document has been signed and filled out, to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .  As we receive each application, we will review the information within it, and once approved, will contact you with the opportunity for a meet and greet and establish a schedule to accommodate that meet and greet.  If you, for whatever reason, have been denied from adopting that animal, do not believe you're denied forever from adopting any animal ever, but that your application may have not fit our required needs for the animal that you've submitted for.  We will contact you, in either scenario, to inform you of your application's status.  The more thorough you are on an application, the more better your application appears to us.  If you answer clearly optional questions, great, it looks that much better!  Be thorough!

Due to the intensity of our applications (to ensure these animals go to qualified and very loving homes) the review of an application can take a full 48 hours, and in some cases up to 72, if submitted over the weekend or on a holiday.  Please bare with us, we will contact you.  Adoptable animals are first-come, first-served based on the approved applications.  Any questions concerning our adoptions process may be emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Thank you.

This snake was one of our dear friend, Nykolas L. Danger, who unfortunately lost his life on January 2nd.  The members of this organization will miss him very much, as he supported our organization and our goals through volunteer service and through fundraisers. He inspired us and helped us in our field work. We were very excited to see him on our field work in the 2014 rehabilitation season.  He is survived by his parents, William Finger & Georgia Springer, his sister, Dana Springer, his dogs, cats, loving extended family & friends, and his seven snakes.  Two white-sided black rat snakes were provided homes to an individual who planned to continue his plans to breed the pair this year - as Nykolas had planned as a personal goal.

The remainder of the snakes under his care are up for adoption to everyone.  Those that are interested in the adoption of this animal are invited to submit an application, but please be aware of the situation.  We ask that every application for this animal be filled out to reflect the most detailed answers, as we will hold all applications to the smallest, fine details.  The more information, the better.

All adoptions proceeds will go to benefit the immediate family of Nykolas Danger in their trying time.  As he donated to our organization and believed in our organization, we believe in those that he left behind, and aim to help them as he helped us.
